I noticed this fun personality test on a couple of other blogs.  I love these kinds of things.  So while I fed Emma I tried it.  It's pretty tough feeding a baby and drawing with a mouse but the analysis was pretty right on.  I almost feel out of my chair laughing when I read Bobby's, rule follower....yeah right!  But he and I did have the similar results, that's probably why I miss him and his family so much!

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is one of my favorite parts of my job.  It is a week filled with great kids coming together to learn about Jesus through worship, bible stories, snacks, games, crafts, silly characters, and more!  It is also a week where I watch amazing volunteers give up a week of their lives to make an impact on kids.  The relationships and growth that happen in a child's life over one short week is irreplaceable.

This year I am a little bit stressed out about VBS.  We are at a new location that I am not familiar with, I have a new baby that takes up most of my day and energy, and we are a little short on volunteers.  God has provided amazing leaders that are holding me up and preparing amazing things for the kids, a generous church that is letting us use their facility, and kids that are signing up every week.

If you are interested in volunteering at VBS we need you!  Email me and we will find the perfect spot for you!  I would love to have tons of people praying for our VBS.  Pray for volunteers to come and have the energy to keep up with the kids, for children's lives to be changed, for my sanity, for the families of the children to see a difference in their child's hearts, and for the week to come and God to be there each moment. 

One month old

Wow, has the last month whizzed by.  In some ways it feels like Emma Elizabeth has been in our lives forever, in other ways it feels like just yesterday I found out I was pregnant.  Words cannot describe the joy I have felt over the last four weeks.  I don't know if I have ever been happier.  I love my amazing husband who is such a great dad and provider, my 12 year old son is such a great helper, and my little girl is so cute who I can't stop staring at. 

Here are a few happenings of Emma's first month.
-LOTS of visitors
-First shopping trip to Target and the mall
-Played Bunco twice in one week
-Watched Daddy serve Golden Spoon to his middle school students and families
-Visited Big Brothers school on Open House Night
-Had her first photo shoot with Beth Hutton(if you want to see the 100 plus pics I'll email you the link)
-Went to Revolution Church
-Went to a Life Group Retreat
-First Baby Shower and Birthday Party
-Rode the Merry go Round at South Coast with Dylan, Waverly and Emerson
-Went to her first Restaurant, CPK
-Went to the office with mommy
-Wore lots of really cute outfits
I am sure much more has happened but Moms a little sleep deprived and can only remember so much at a time.  I can't wait to see what the next four weeks have in store. 

Here are a few pictures.  The one with the bunny is Emma's official one month picture.  Michelle took pictures of Chandler and Regan with a bear so you could see their growth.  I always wished I had done it with Dylan.  Emma hasn't gotten the whole photo smile down yet but we're working on it.
